GGWP Clothing are a sustainable, video game apparel company. They design gaming clothing that has something for every gamer, no matter what you play or how you play it. Not licensed or brand specific, GGWP Clothing uses gaming terminology and phrases allowing the clothes to appeal to every video game enthusiast. They use sustainable, organic cotton in all their products, and they are produced in factories powered by renewable energy.
The challenge was to build a brand that will speak to the audience, it needs to be clean, cool, wearable on the street and comfortable in front of a screen. GGWP (Good Game, Well Played) is a mark of respect in gaming. ‘GG’ is typed in online games, even official tournaments, to signify the end of the game. The target audience is adult gamers, working men and women with disposable income. Serious gamers and enthusiasts with a sense of style.

There were many initial ideas and iterations, but refinement was key. We brought the logo and brand back to where the name, GGWP, lives – in game. Refined, bold, strong, and subtly clever. The underscore represents the text cursor, a clear nod to how the phrase is used in situ.
The logo being based in the name and simple in nature, allows for clear communication across all platforms. This enables GGWP Clothing to build brand recognition easier with consistent identification. Consistency is paramount for a new brand entering a niche and growing market.
